Matt Embree of RX Bandits and The Sound of Animals Fighting has announced that he will be releasing a new solo album. It is called Orion and will be out on March 7 via Born Losers Records. He has also released a video for his new song “Summer House Savior” which was created by Big Howl. Matt Embree released his EP 2019 in 2019. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Split Chain have released a video for their new song “I’m Not Dying To Be Here”. The video was directed and edited by Zak Pinchin. The song appears to be a standalone single and is available digitally now via Epitaph Records. Split Chain are currently touring North America supporting Silverstein and Thursday. Mosswood Meltdown has announced more bands for this year. Bleached, Snooper, Shannon and the Clams, La Luz, L’Trimm, and Guida will now be playing the festival. They join the previously announced lineup of Devo, Osees, Exploding Hearts, Kreayshawn, and The Kids. Mosswood Meltdown will be hosted by John Waters and will take place in Mosswood Park in Oakland, California on July 19-20.

ameokama, the solo project of Aki McCullough of A Constant Knowledge of Death, Nu House Studios, and formerly of Dreamwell, has released a video for her new song “phantom cock”. The video was directed and edited by Daniel Arón Speer. The song is off ameokama’s debut album i will be clouds in the morning and rain in the evening which will be out on February 7.
