Escape From The Zoo release video for “Treadin’ Water”

Escape From The Zoo have released a video for their new song “Treadin’ Water”. The video was filmed by Jak Kerley of Shibby Pictures. The band are currently working on a new album according to their post on Instagram about the song and video. Escape From the Zoo released their album Countin’ Cards in 2022. FLEAS: "BLEED"

Suffolk-based hardcore band FLEAS have released a new song called “BLEED”. The song is off their upcoming album Imagine If There Was More which will be out later this year. FLEAS released their EP Revenge is Forever in 2022. Check out the song below.

Saetia to release new EP, share "Tendrils"

Saetia have announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called Tendrils and will feature 3 new songs: "Tendrils", "Three Faces Past", and "Corkscrew Spine". The band has released "Tendrils" and the other two tracks will be released in February and March. This marks the release of their first new music in 26 years. Vinyl copies of the EP will be available via Deathwish and are expected to ship in April. The art for the EP was created by Caroline Harrison. Saetia released their live album Live From Saint Vitus Bar in 2023 and released Collected in 2016. Check out the song below.

Jared Hart surprise-releases new EP

Jared Hart has surprise-released a new EP. It is called The Condor and features 2 new tracks – “The Condor” and “So It Goes” along with a reworked version of “Allnighters” (which originally appeared on The Scandals’ 2012 EP Trenchknife) and a cover of “Come Back To Earth” by Mac Miller. Jared Hart will be playing an EP release party on January 4 at Crossroads in Garwood, New Jersey with Ben Nichols of Lucero. Check out the EP in full below.

Baby Got Back Talk: "Home Groan"

Baby Got Back Talk have released a new song. It is called “Home Groan” and is available digitally now. Baby Got Back Talk released their EP Wince, Repeat in 2023. Check out the song below.

On 22 August, the National Building Museum hosted a Late Night at the Museum which featured DC punk band Scream, a DJ set by Mathias, and the Capital Brutalism Exhibition that featured photos, designs, and blueprints of “ugly” buildings around Washington, DC. The museum venue for a punk show. Let’s hope they do more.

DC punk band Scream’s current members are Pete Stahl on vox, Franz Stahl on guitar, Skeeter Thompson on bass, Jerry Busher on drums, and Clint Walsh on guitar. Scream put on a killer show. Fans and museum goers were not disappointed. Find them here next.

The National Building Museum set the stage in the middle of the first floor. Before Scream played, the museum screened a photo presentation of Brutalist architecture from around the globe while the DJ Mathias spun a punk and post-punk DJ set.

Today, we are psyched to debut the new song by Underheaven! Underheaven started out as a duo comprised of Howard Wuelfing and Don Zientara before the dc punk first wave. Since then, the group has evolved into something else entirely. Now composed of metalhead Chris Gelok and Wuelfing, the duo crafts heavy, dark, trippy cosmic metal. Imagine the pagan side of neurosis meeting Envy and Isis. their new tune, "church of bones" is fittingly dark. Gelok makes a visual to support the song's drifting, dark atmosphere. Salem music venue Moon Base One details opening weekend

<p>Thanks to Moon Base One, the Massachusetts music community has reason to pop some post-New Year’s champagne. The organizers behind the forthcoming Salem venue have announced an opening date of Friday, February 7, with the Boston bands Mallcops, 5ever, and Pintail scheduled to christen the performance space.
