Sudbury-based punk rockers Psychbike have released a video for their new song “Living in a Shadow”. The song is off their upcoming self-titled record which will be out on November 15 via Tretryon Tapes. Psychbike released their five-song DEMO in 2023. Check out the video below.

Today we are stoked to bring you the premiere of the new song by Athens, Georgia-based indie punk band Hunger Anthem! The song is called “Bloodsucker” and is off their upcoming album Lift. Speaking to Punknews about the track, singer and songwriter Brendan Vaganek said, “'Bloodsucker' leans toward the heavier and tighter with changes that can be right on a dime. It’s about desperation and dread, and realizing that sometimes feeling hopeless and torn is a part of life that needs to be gone through and survived. Should I fight, should I change, maybe both? The weight can be tough no matter who you are. At times, getting up and getting by can in and of itself be a challenge.” ”Bloodsucker” will hit streaming services on October 23. Lo(u)ser, the ska punk project of music video director Chris Graue, has released a video for their new song “Overtime”. The video was self-directed and features tons of references to old sports video games including NBA Jam and NHL 94. The song features Ryland Steen of Reel Big Fish on drums and was produced by Rich Zahniser of The Hippos. It is available digitally now. Toronto-based heavy music and arts festival Prepare the Ground has announced its first wave lineup for 2025. Alaskan (reunion), The Atlas Moth, Falls of Rauros, Have A Nice Life, Khanate, Kowloon Walled City, Midwife, Pygmy Lush, THE RITA, Steve Von Till, and Young Widows will be playing. These bands join the previously announced headliners YOB who will be playing two sets including a full album set for Atma and Kylesa who will be playing their first North American reunion show at the festival. Prepare the Ground will take place May 30-June 1, 2025 across four venues in Toronto, Ontario – Trinity St. Paul’s Church, Lee’s Palace, the Cave, and 918 Bathurst.
