Today we are extremely excited to bring you the premiere of the new video by Niagara-based rockers Lonely Little Kitsch! The video is for their new song “How Did We Get Here”. It features a collection of clips that chronicles the history of their band from their formation up to now including vocalist Kristen Goetz and guitarist Nolan Jodes’ journey from writing songs together to playing live with a full band. Speaking about the song and video, Lonely Little Kitsch said, ”’How Did We Get Here’ is a song about second chances vs. leaving the past behind. When you reach a point that you can try again or keep moving on and making progress. It's a boppy, pop-punk song paired with our usual alt-rock style, and we use it to kick off most of our live shows. We wrote this one pretty quickly –  Nolan came up with a distortion-filled, energetic riff, and Kris brought in the hooky chorus and verses.  For the lyric video, we went DIY as always. This time, showcasing clips from the start of LLK to now, with a quick glimpse of what it's like to be in this band. We work hard, but we have a hell of a good time. Chase Petra have released a video for their new song “Have Faith, Horatio”. The video was directed by Molly Kirschenbaum and Payson Whitwell. It stars lead vocalist and guitarist Hunter Allen as Hamlet, bassist Brooke Dickson as Ophelia, and drummer Evan Schaid as The Ghost and Horatio. The song is off their upcoming album Lullabies For Dogs which will be out on March 7 via Wax Bodega. Chase Petra will be touring the US starting in March and released their EP The Petrichor Series Vol. 1 in 2024. Check out the video below.

Superheaven have announced that they will be touring the US and Toronto this spring. Glare, Spy, and Prize Horse will be joining them on all dates. The tour will kick off at LDB Fest in Louisville, Kentucky on April 26 and will be brought to a close on May 20 with their show at Brooklyn Steel in Brooklyn. Superheaven released their two-song single “Long Gone / Numb To What Is Real” in 2024 and their most recent album is 2015’s Ours Is Chrome. Check out the dates below.

New York City-based Big Girl have released a video for their new song “DIY GOD”. The video was directed by lead vocalist and lyricist Kaitlin Pelkey and guitarist Crispin Swank. The song is the first single off their upcoming EP DYE which will be out on April 23. Big Girl released their album Big Girl vs. God in 2023. Check out the video below.

Rick Buckler, the drummer for The Jam, has passed away. He passed away at age 69 after a short illness. Earlier this month Rick Buckler cancelled his upcoming spoken word tour due to health problems. Paul Weller released a statement on Instagram which reads, I'm shocked and saddened by Rick's passing. I'm thinking back to us all rehearsing in my bedroom in Stanley Road, Woking. To all the pubs and clubs we played at as kids, to eventually making a record. What a journey! We went far beyond our dreams and what we made stands the test of time. My deepest sympathy to all family and friends” In that same Instagram post Bruce Foxton also paid tribute to Rick saying, I was shocked and devastated to hear the very sad news today. Rick was a good guy and a great drummer whose innovative drum patterns helped shape our songs. I'm glad we had the chance to work together as much as we did. My thoughts are with Leslie and his family at this very difficult time." Rick Buckler formed The Jam along with Paul Weller and Bruce Foxton in 1972. The band released six full-length albums before they broke up in 1982 with the last one being The Gift which was released that year. Rick Buckler also played in Time UK, Sharp, and The Gift along with running a studio in Islington where he worked on several albums including Bound for Glory by The Highliners and Tell ‘Em We’re Surfin’ by The Family Cat. Rick Buckler authored several books including 1994’s Our Story which was co-written with Bruce Foxton and That’s Entertainment: My Life in the Jam which was released in 2015. We send our condolences to Rick Buckler’s family, friends, and fans.
