the Rebel Spell played a surprise show on November 9. The band has been mostly inactive since their Last Run album, from 2014. The band played at Redgate in Vancouver for the first time in eight years at a birthday party. You can see the whole show below.

Sex Pistols will release an archival live album. It's called Live In The USA 1978 and was recorded in Atlanta during the band's USA tour. That's out February 28, 2025 via Universal/As you may know, dozens of gray market live Sex Pistols albums have been released since the band folded. This release marks the first live release by the band of their classic era by a larger label. It is unclear if the material is simply taken from the previously released bootleg Atlanta 1978, or if it is from a different source tape with better sound quality (though thr Atlanta bootleg has better soiund quality than most Sex Pistols live releases). We'll keep you updated.

Brooklyn-based melodic punks Original Sharks have released a video for their song “174”. The video was created by Luke LeCount. The song is off their EP Style which was released earlier this month. Check out the video below.

It feels like 2024 was the year of Coppola. Not just Francis (whatever you thought of Megalopolis, people talked quite a bit about it) — his niece, Gia, is a filmmaker in her own right, having directed several well-noticed features in the past. She’s got what might be the buzziest movie she’s ever made coming out in limited release later this year: it’s called The Last Showgirl, and it was a sensation on the festival circuit — mainly because of […]

Today we are super stoked to bring you a premiere of the debut EP by Bristol-based blackened hardcore collective Vicarage!
Though he’s not as well-known stateside as he is overseas, Robbie Williams is a one-of-a-kind pop star throwback who, like many cut from similar cloth, came up through a boy band and embarked on a successful solo career. The reason he’s a throwback is that he’s spectacularly weird — the dude has visited Skinwalker Ranch, the bizarre place in Utah that’s home to a billion paranormal phenomena, and has seen a UFO — but he’s deliriously charming as well. It’s […]

Today, we are pleased to debut the new song by Oceans in the Sky. Oceans in the Sky is the project of New York's Liam Frost. Frost full-on embraces the emo heigfhts of the early 2000s and crafts soaring, emotive rock that binds together grandeur with heart-on-the-sleeve honesty. His debut LP, Parallels is getting the deluxe, double disc re-release treatment and has some new tunes. One of the new tracks is "Take me Home" which features Fred from Say Anything on guest vocals. The track is as big and as introspective as you might guess. Do you liek emo? You will love this. You can pre-order the deluxe version of Parallels right here… and you can hear "take me home" below, right now!
