Treehouse of Horror to release new record, share "let's pretend"

Toronto-based emo/screamo band Treehouse of Horror have announced that they will be releasing a new record. It is called because our days are numbered and will be out on July 14. The band has also released their first and only single from the record called “let’s pretend”. Treehouse of Horror released their split with boxcutter and Please Don’t Crash, What Good Does Getting Angry Do?, in 2023 and released their EP Songs We Wrote in 2022. Check out the song below.

Videos: Like Roses: "Broken Things (Lie To Me)"

Berkeley-based emo band Like Roses have released a video for their new song “Broken Things (Lie To Me)”. The video was filmed by Jason Coleman and Jeremey Smith-Batha and features practical effects by Stevie Campos-Seligman and Jason Coleman. The song is available digitally now. Like Roses released two singles in 2023 and released their EP Closure in 2018. The band will be touring the US later this month. Check out the video and dates below.

Nails have released a new song. It is called “Give Me The Painkiller” and is off their upcoming album Every Bridge Burning which will be out on August 30 via Nuclear Blast. Nails released You Will Never Be One of Us in 2016. Check out the song below.

Boris the Sprinkler to release CLUE concept EP

Boris the Sprinkler will release a new concept EP on July 12. It's called Boris the Sprinkler Gets a Clue and every song is about one of the suspects from the CLUE boardgame. You can see the cover below. The band released Vespa to Venus in 2019.

Kid Kapichi have released a video for “Can EU Hear Me?” The video was shot and edited by Christos Georghiou. The song is off their album There Goes The Neighbourhood which was released earlier this year.

Pitchfork announces new Head Editor

About six months ago, Conde Nast media, the owner of Pitchfork, announced that it was going to fold Pitchfork into GQ. it also laid off a number of editors. Recently, Conde Nast stated that the "folding" was a "misunderstanding" and that Pitchfork will remain its own publication. They also announced two new editors. Fest Intentions: Moon Over Salem announces inaugural lineup and details
