Leanah crashes into a cycle of ‘Karma’ on new single

When dishing out disses and breakup songs, it’s all fun and games until you’re the one owning up to the wreckage. Lucky for Leanah, poised R&B helps imperfect lovers cope like champs. The Boston artist accepts partial blame for a now-dissolved relationship on “Karma,” her new single from earlier this month (April 13) and the followup to her debut single “Running Back.” “I’ve written a couple songs about heartbreak, but ‘Karma’s story goes more into depth on my side of imperfections,” Leanah […]

Clark D’s gratitude can’t be contained on new single ‘GLAD TO BE ME’

Anyone present at the 2023 Boston Music Awards can confirm that Clark D’s effervescent gratitude defined the mood of the evening. Throughout his performance at the annual awards ceremony, the Mattapan-raised rapper practically levitated across the Big Night Live stage, buoyed by a palpable, outspoken love for his city and creative community. It was, quite frankly, an unrepeatable moment. That is, until he dropped “GLAD TO BE ME” this week (April 23). Clark D’s new single is another outpouring of […]
