Listen up, ska-punk appreciators! We’ve got a bitchin’ premiere for you today. It’s the new music video from San Diego’s Late for Life, for their brand new single “M357” (pronounced Em, three, five, seven). Check that shit out below!

“M357” depicts the prying cycle of addiction in the mind. The song was written, recorded and produced by Late for Life. The band worked with TJ Rivera for mixing and mastering. The music video was written, shot and directed by Rick Galli and produced by Richard W. King.

Late for Life plans to release multiple singles with accompanying videos throughout 2024. Follow their socials to stay up to date and head over to their Bandcamp to check out more music.

Shellac to release first album in 10 years

Steve Albini's Shellac will release their first new album in ten years. To All Trains is out May 17 and was recorded over a series of weekends in November 2017; October 2019; September 2021; and March 2022. You can see the cover art in this post and the track list below.

Plaintiff in Justin Sane lawsuit alleges Sane hiding money and plans to leave USA

Last week, Kristina Sarhadi, who has filed a lawsuit against Justin Sane of Anti-Flag for torts related to sexual assault, filed a First Amended Complaint in the Northern District Court of New York. As part of the complaint, Sarhadi alleges that after a party: "Geever (Justin Sane) began restraining and strangling Sarhadi, and he forced her to perform oral sex on him; When Sarhadi could breathe, she repeatedly pleaded with him to stop; She was shocked and crying. He was mean and violent with Sarhadi; she did not matter and was just an object for him to dominate; Geever penetrated Sarhadi’s vagina with his penis. Sarhadi did not consent." Also in the complaint, Sarhadi alleges that Sane is hiding money over seas and plans to flee the country: "Moreover, on information and belief, Geever has unlawfully sought to hide his assets by transferring funds overseas to an Irish bank account. Geever has an Irish passport, and, on information and belief, he plans to flee to Europe within the next few days." Sane still has two weeks to file an Answer or other pleading to the Complaint. Obviously, Sane may deny the allegations, in full or in part, but has not yet responded in the Court. We will keep you updated.

METZ have released a video for their new song “Light Your Way Home” which features Amber Webber of Black Mountain. The song is off their upcoming album Up On Gravity Hill which will be out on April 12 via Sub Pop Records and Dine Alone Records. METZ will be touring North America and Europe this spring and fall. The band released Atlas Vending in 2020. Check out the video below.

Winnipeg-based punk rockers Dinner Club have released a video for their new song “Galaxy Quest”. The video was filmed and edited by Trav Anema. The song is available digitally now. Dinner Club will be releasing a full-length album later this year and released their album Paid In Change in 2018. Check out the video below.

THICK: "Father"

THICK have released a video for their new song “Father”. The video was filmed, edited, and directed by Sydney Tate Bradford and features additional footage by Nara Avakian. The song is available digitally via Epitaph Records and appears to be a standalone single. THICK released their album Happy Now in 2022. Check out the video below.

Tours: Single Mothers announce 'Negative Qualities' 10th anniversary shows for Ontario

Single Mothers have announced Ontario shows celebrating the 10th anniversary of their album Negative Qualities. The band will be performing the album in full on these dates and will be joined by The Anti-Queens. Tickets go on sale on Friday. Single Mothers will be touring the UK to celebrate Negative Qualities in July and released Roy in 2023. Check out the dates below.
