Cheap Sex, Lower Class Brats, F.O.D., Virus, Fus, Blanks 77, YDI to play Hostile City Weekender

Philadelphia's Hostile City Oi! Council has announced the details for it's annual weekend bash. The Hostile City Weekender will be co-headlined by Cheap sex (celebrating the 20th anniversary of Headed for a breakdown) and Lower Class Brats. Bands also playing include F.O.D., The Virus, FUs, Blanks 77, YDI, The Parasitix, and a whole lot more. That event is November 1 and 2 at the Upper Darby American Legion post in Upper Darby (right next to Philly).

Sleater-Kinney announce expanded edition of 'Little Rope', share "Here Today" video

Sleater-Kinney have announced that they will be releasing an expanded version of their album Little Rope which was released earlier this year. The expanded edition includes the acoustic Frayed Rope Sessions, live versions of songs recorded at the Forum in Melbourne, Australia, and three new songs. The band has released a video for one of the new songs called “Here Today” which was created in collaboration with In Decline, an activist art collective. The song was originally released as a Record Store Day exclusive release along with “This Time”. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Festivals & Events: Tarantula Tapes announces details for fourth anniversary show

Tarantula Tapes have announced the details for their fourth anniversary show. The Readys, Abraxas Reflux, Heavy Petter, Frank Dux, The Holdouts, and Tall Pork will be playing the show. The flyer was created by Fly Graphics. Tarantula Tapes’ 4th Birthday from Hell will take place on October 19 at the Queens Hotel in Barrie, Ontario.

Regional Justice Center: “MORAL DEATH SENTENCE”

Regional Justice Center have released a new song. It is called “MORAL DEATH SENTENCE” and is off their upcoming album FREEDOM SWEET FREEDOM which will be out on September 20 via Closed Casket Activities. Punk Rock Bowling announces 2025 dates, Mark Stern is back

Punk Rock Bowling has announced its 2025 dates. As per the usual course, PRB 2025 will be on Memorial Day weekend, running May 23-26, 2025 in Las Vegas. Additionally, Mark Stern is returning as booker of the festival, after stepping away for a few installments. PRB 2025 is the festival's 25th anniversary. We'll keep you updated.

Tsunami Bomb release video for new song written by an 8 year old

Tsunami Bomb have released a new sing. It's called "Star Power" and the story behind the song was written by 8-year-old Charlee from Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas. The recording is via Sing Me a Story, a non-profit organization that takes stories written by children in need and turns them into songs. The video was made by Mark Lerner and Nancy Howell. Abraxas Reflux to release new EP, share "Constant"

Toronto-based hardcore punks Abraxas Reflux have announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called Rotten and will be out on October 19 via Tarantula Tapes. The band has also released their first single from the EP called “Constant”. Abraxas Reflux released their self-titled EP in 2022. Check out the song below.
