Dog Date to release new album, share "Nuff Said' video

New York-based punk rockers Dog Date have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Zinger and will be out on April 12 via Pop Wig. The band has also released a video for their new song “Nuff Said” which was animated by Peter Wagner. Dog Date released their album Child’s Play in 2021. Check out the video and tracklist below.

Interviews: Catching a 'Third Wind' with David Mitchell of Gulfer

On Wednesday Montreal-based Gulfer will be releasing their stellar fourth album Third Wind. A renewed sense of enthusiasm is palpable throughout the record as the band effortlessly blends elements from shoegaze and indie rock with their signature mathy emo sound. The ten unique tracks leave no doubt that even though Gulfer has been around for over a decade they are still a creative force to be reckoned with. Third Wind will be out everywhere on February 28 via Topshelf Records and Gulfer will be playing two shows in Quebec this spring. Punknews editor Em Moore caught up with bassist David Mitchell over Zoom to talk about the new record, listening to the Universe, playing music festivals, dealing with burnout, and so much more. The Anti-Queens to release new album

The Anti-Queens have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Disenchanted and will be out this spring via Stomp Records. The Anti-Queens will be touring Ontario and Quebec with Bowling For Soup in April and will be playing Pouzza Fest in Montreal in May. Psywarfare releases Genesis P-Orridge tribute

Psywarfare, the noise project of Dwid of Integrity has released a 7-inch tribute to Genesis P-Orridge of Throbbing Gristle/Psychic TV. The release is a split with Coppermouth. The Psywarfare side includes a song that samples Genesis as well as a cover of Throbbing gristle's "Six Six Sixties." The coppermouth side is a noise track titled "XXIII."
