Festivals & Events: Munity, The Best of the Worst, BONDBREAKR, more added to SPI Fest 2024

SPI Fest has announced its second wave lineup for this year. Munity, The Best of The Worst, KMoy, Sargent Scag, Runaway Ricochet, BONDBREAKR, and Plastic Presidents will now be playing the festival. These bands join the previously announced first wave lineup which includes Catbite, Call Me Malcolm, Hans Gruber and the Die Hards, and Mega Infinity. SPI Fest will take place May 17-18 at 25 Central Street in Windsor, Connecticut.

Pure Hex: "She Comes Up"

San Francisco-based shoegaze band Pure Hex have released a new song. It is called “She Comes Up” and will be on their upcoming double album Spilling/Five of Tears which will be out in May via Neon Bloodbath. Pure Hex released Still Dark in 2022. Check out the song below.

Screaming Females release widespread version of previously limited 'Clover' EP

Screaming Females broke up last year, following the release of their Desire Pathway album. Prior to the album release, the band released a limited EP called Clover [EP] in 2022, which was only available at one live show. Today, the band issued a widespread release of Clover. which you can hear below. The physical version is out via Don Giovanni.

Tours: Subhumans announce UK tour

Subhumans have announced UK shows for this spring. The band will also be playing Punk Rock Bowling in May and NOFX’s final shows in California in October. Subhumans released Crisis Point in 2019. Check out the dates below.

Today we are thrilled to bring you the premiere of the new track by Portland-based Jade Dust! The song is called “By A Thread” and is off their upcoming album Grey Skies. Speaking about the track, vocalist and guitarist Rudi Jung said, ”This song is about the tight bonds I had with very special people in my life fraying and breaking over time. People grow apart and become totally different. It's normal and just part of growing up. The world is really fucked up right now and everyone is really tense. It wears on people and grinds them down into something they probably don't want to be. It's also about the realization that just because you have a history with someone, doesn't mean you have to punish yourself by staying connected.” Grey Skies will be out everywhere on March 1 via Council Records, Extinction Burst, and GGT Records. Mad Caddies: "Green Eyes"

The Mad Caddies have released a new song. It is called “Green Eyes” and is off their upcoming album Arrows Room 117 which will be out on March 15 via SBAM Records and 55 Rose Records. Mad Caddies will be touring Canada starting later this month, will be touring the Western US in May, and will be playing NOFX's final shows in California in October. Check out the song below.

WRISTMEETRAZOR announce new album, release “Trepanation”

WRISTMEETRAZOR have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Degeneration and will be out on March 29 via Prosthetic Records. The band has also released a video for their new song “Trepanation” which was directed by Cameron Nunez. WRISTMEETRAZOR released Replica of a Strange Love in 2021.
