Carpool announce new album, release "Can We Just Get High?"

New York-based emo band Carpool have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called My Life In Subtitles and will be out on March 22 via SideOneDummy. The band has also released a new song called “Can We Just Get High?”. Carpool released their album Erotic Nightmare Summer in 2020. Check out the song below.

Let’s Go is a Canadian melodic punk band hailing from Kamloops, BC. Their debut album Smile is due out November 24th on High End Denim Records. We’re pleased to bring you the exclusive premiere of the band’s new single, the album’s title track! Check that shit out below. It truly is a cinematic masterpiece.

Here’s some introspective insight on the song’s subject matter, courtesy of Let’s Go (the band, not the 1994 Rancid album):

“Smile” is a song about trudging forward and never giving up despite the challenges we face every day, big or small. The song also gives a tip of the cap to all of the amazing bands that we’ve had the privilege of sharing the stage with since the band started out in 2018.

Tours: Chris Cresswell announces spring solo tour (CAN and US)

Chris Cresswell has announced shows for Canada and the US for this spring. The Canadian leg of the tour will be full band shows with Northcote and Chuck Coles playing support. The American leg will be acoustic shows with comedians Dave Ross and Maxwell Stern on all dates. Chris Cresswell released his solo album The Stubbornness of the Young earlier this year.

Meth. to release new album

Chicago’s meth. have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called SHAME and will be out on February 2 via Prosthetic Records. The band also announced their album release show which will take place at Thalia Hall in Chicago on February 2 with See You Next Tuesday, Deaf Club, and Usurp Synapse joining them. Meth. released Mother of Red Light in 2019.

Atlanta-based emo band Worlds Greatest Dad have released a video for their new song “Concrete (A Love Song)”. The song appears to be a standalone single and is available digitally now. Worlds Greatest Dad released their album Get Well Soon in 2018. Check out the video below.

Tours: Flogging Molly / Amigo The Devil / Gen and The Degenerates (US)

Flogging Molly have announced US tour dates for February and March. Amigo The Devil and Gen and The Degenerates will be joining them on all dates. The tour will culminate in their two previously announced Shamrock Rebellion Festival shows. Tickets for the new dates go on sale on November 17. Flogging Molly released their EP ’Til The Anarchy’s Restored earlier this year and released their album Anthem in 2022. Check out the dates below.
