Rocket From The Crypt have announced they will be hitting the road for a quick run of European reunion tour dates in early 2013. Along with that, in a recent Q&A session with fans, they announced plans to record a new album with Dave Grohl (Nirvana, The Foo Fighters, etc.) handling production duties.

Here’s an excerpt from the Q&A session:
Q: Will there be other shows?
A: Maybe. We will see how it goes.
Q: Why are you playing again? Are you broke or something?
A: I just want to make people happy, if only for an hour or two
Q: Are there plans for a new record?
A: Yes, Dave Grohl from Nirvana is producing.
We’ll keep you posted as more details on additional reunion shows/a new album surface. The band last released Live from Camp X-Ray in 2002 on Vagrant Records (despite the title, it’s actually a studio album, not a live album).
