Rolling Stone interviews Mike Ness of Social Distortion, band plans pre-production of next album in 2013

For a while, we’ve heard that Social Distortion were already working on their next album, despite the fact that their last one came out over exactly 8 months ago. Well, frontman Mike Ness was recently interviewed at Rolling Stone, where he talks about family, looks at some antique items at a store in Austin, Texas, songwriting and confesses that the reason Social Distortion takes a long time to make albums is that they all have lives outside the band and that they have families to support. However, in other news, they are planning pre-production for a new album in 2013.

The band is currently embarking on a fall U.S. tour, where they continue supporting their latest album, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, which was released last January on Epitaph Records.
