Set It Off sign to Equal Vision Records; re-releasing “Horrible Kids” with bonus material

Florida pop-punk act Set It Off have just announced that they have joined the Equal Vision Records family. The band has stated plans to remaster, enhance, and re-release their new album, “Horrible Kids”. Set It Off self-released “Horrible Kids” last month, but the guys at Equal Vision are going to have their way with it, and spruce it up. The re-release will also contain a previously unreleased track, “Chase It!”, and music videos for “Breathe In, Breathe Out” and “@Reply”. Here’s what vocalist Cody Carson had to say about “Horrible Kids”,

“Our main inspiration in writing this album was derived from personal experiences growing up. I loved being able to turn to songs that I could personally relate to. I want to provide that same kind of coping source for people…I want people to be able to turn on “Horrible Kids” and pick a song that pinpoints exactly what they’re going through and allows them to vent through it.”

Set It Off has some dates scheduled with Vans Warped Tour, so be sure to head here and check out when they’ll be playing.
