Video Archive: Bad Religion performing an “unknown song” back in 1982

Earlier this morning, the Facebook page of the popular Bad Religion fan site The Bad Religion Page shared an audio/video clip of the band debuting what happened to be an unknown or never-before heard song during their performance at The Galaxy Theater in Fullerton back in 1982 on Halloween (October 31st).

Go here to check out the “unknown song”. It does not have an official name, but it has been referred to as “Greg’s New Song” and was possibly written for their 1983 most-criticized second album Into the Unknown, but did not appear on the eventual release.

Bad Religion are in the studio recording their new album, with Joe Barresi and their guitarist Brett Gurewitz producing it. Not only will it be their follow-up to 2010’s The Dissent of Man, but it will sixteenth studio album in their career and frontman Greg Graffin hinted last year that it’s probably going to be their last one.
