Video: First new Streetlight Manifesto material in 5 years (at Irvine, California Warped Tour)

I’m as giddy as a schoolboy about this one, despite the mediocre audio quality. Jersey 4th wave outfit Streetlight Manifesto have performed what looks to be a new song from their forthcoming album; the first new material from the band since the 2007 release of Somewhere In The Between.

Check out the video here.

The band last released the first volume of their covers project 99 Songs Of Revolution in March 2010. The upcoming album (no release date yet) of original material will be the band’s last record on Victory Records, which they are quite enthusiastic about. Pentimento Music Company will be co-releasing the record. Frontman Tom Kalnoky is also recording original material under the name Toh Kay, after releasing an album of acoustic Streetlight Manifesto covers.

*Editor’s Note: Despite Kalnoky’s introduction, we’re 95% sure this song is not called “BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH!”
