I don’t know, but Dying Scene is ON THE FUCKING GUEST LIST, and we’re thrilled to be taking all out readers along to crash this sucker with us. Doc Hammer is a hardcore rock and roll five-piece led by front-man Josh Ravin who is “all about letting loose and letting go.” For fans of Dillinger Escape Plan, the band claims they are “equal parts party/ equal parts metal for the people.” They will be releasing their first full length album, Neon Devil, on Paper + Plastick Records Sept. 1, which should then be available on all the regular streaming platforms. Dying Scene is stoked to bring you the early release of Doc Hammer’s newest single off Neon Devil titled “Vamparty Diaries”, today.
“As veterans of the music industry, the dudes of Doc Hammer are no strangers to the scene, evidenced by the grit and sense of determination felt in all their songs. Their driving guitar riffs and catchy, anthem-like hooks create a harmonious blend of hardcore and rock n’ roll. With live shows notorious for their energy and spirit, Doc Hammer is setting a new standard for rock n’ roll. Be it jumping into and playing inside the crowd or crawling around and hanging from the rafters, Doc Hammer is all about stirring it up and starting the party.” (EPK)
Following the release of Neon Devil, Doc Hammer will be embarking on an eleven-date tour along the west coast (U.S.) before returning to their San Diego home where they can be found tapping kegs and Magic The Gathering cards (apparently) for the forseeable furture. Check out that tour schedule and stream “Vamparty Diaries” below.

The last release from the band was a cover album ‘Other People’s Greatest Hits’ in 2017. There is yet no mention as to whether this new song will feature on a more substantial release in the near future. The song is very catchy even though the chorus melody is slightly borrowed from a song by the band ‘fun’.
