Roadblock Music Festival will be taking place on July 27th at Bold Point Park in East Providence Rhode Island and will feature Bad Religion, The Menzingers, Charly Bliss, Old Firm Casuals, Cro-Mags, Rebuilder and more.

Not only can you see some awesome punk acts, but you can help a great cause as well.  A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to Whiteknact PTA Operation Playground in East Providence to build a playground for handicapped students.  You can grab your tickets here.

Neverlearn (Melodic Hardcore) stream new song “Pest Control”

Finnish melodic hardcore band Nerverlearn are streaming their new song “Pest Control,” which comes from their upcoming album, We Want More, that is set to be released later this summer via Fast Decade Records (FInland), Milestone Sound (Japan) & Punk & Disorderly Records (Canada). You can give it a listen below. Neverlearn last released their Start Tomorrow EP in August 2016.

California pop-punks Calmgrove have released a video for their song “Give & Take”. The video which is set in the woods, is a metaphorical look at the constant struggle of trying to run away from the things subconciously we want most. Alright, maybe it’s not that deep, there is however a tug-of-war between two, what can only be assumed lovers. Which leads to the breaking of a union if you will. While I may have looked a little deeper into this video for the underlying meaning than the band intended, it’s a pretty awesome song.

Pumpkin Records (UK) Stream “Pumpkin Levy Punk Weekender” Compilation

Much-loved UK record label Pumpkin Records have just released a compilation to help promote the Pumpkin Levy Punk Weekender, which is happening next month. The event will see a host of hardcore, punk, and ska bands descend on The Klondyke in Levenshulme, Manchester on the 13th and 14th of July.

The compilation features tracks from the artists playing. Expect tunes from the likes of Guns ‘N’ Wankers, P.A.I.N., John Player Specials, and Harijan.

Proceeds from the sale of the compilation will go towards funding the event, with any extra cash being donated to good concerns. Pumpkin Records stated the following of the release:

“After running costs are sorted, all extra money will get donated to refugee solidarity in the Balkans! Wealth distributions and all that…. Please donate if you can afford to!”
