Italian skate punks Vertical Drop caught me by surprise with their debut album Dying Wish. The band’s sound reminds me a lot of Satanic Surfers, Adhesive, Cigar, etc. but with some thrash metal-ish stuff thrown in the mix. In other words, this shit’s bad ass! Highly recommended listening – listen below (and check out the music video for “Next Level”!) and download it for €5 on Bandcamp.
