Joe Gittleman is back!
The iconic bass fiddleman from The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and Avoid One Thing and The Kilograms has announced plans for his latest full-length record. It’s appropriately titled Fiddlemen, and it was recorded alongside some familiar faces: former Bosstone guitarist Nate Albert, former Kilograms/Bouncing Souls (and current Joan Jett and the Blackhearts) drummer Michael McDemott, and Dropkick Murphys’ Tim Brennan.
Fiddlemen is due out November 17th on Rad Girlfriend Records. A limited number of pre-orders will come paired with a bonus EP that features lead single “La Piece De Resistance” and a bonus, vinyl-only B-side called “Without You.” Check out pre-orders here.
Oh, and if you’re in the Boston area for Thanksgiving, Gittleman is playing a record release show upstairs at Middle East on Saturday, November 28th. Details here!
