Hard Girls and Really Records reach goal; will be releasing album for free

Last week we reported that Sacramento CA’s Hard Girls and Really Records (owned by Bomb the Music Industry!‘s Jeff Rosenstock) were trying their own Kickstarter-esque venture to raise money to help put out Hard Girls’ debut album Isn’t It Worse. Just a week later, Really Records was happy to announce that they reached their target goal, and that they will be releasing Isn’t It Worse for free online (much like how Rosenstock’s other label, Quote Unquote, operates).

We’ll keep you updated on when Isn’t it Worse becomes available. For the time being, however, you can listen to or download three tracks from the album (“Hot for the Halo”, “My Buddy Valentine”, and “Fed By the Eater”), and watch the music video for “Major Payne” right here.
