Interview: Social Distortion at Lollapalooza

Social Distortion‘s Mike Ness and Jonny “2 Bags” Wickersham were recently interviewed by WFPK’s Kyle Meredith in Chicago during the Lollapalooza show on Saturday (August 7th). In the interview they discuss their decision to sign to Epitaph Records, their first Australian tour for next year, and the sound and direction of their new album. They also reveal that their new album will be released sometime in November. Check out the video here.

The band has completed their long-awaited new album, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes. This will be their first release on Epitaph Records, who will release the new album, which will be their first of all new material since 2004’s Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll, and the band’s first release of any kind since 2007’s Greatest Hits.

Social Distortion will embark full US tour this fall in support of their new album.
