New Song: “International Incident” by Virgins off upcoming album, “Manimals”

Orlando punk trio Virgins are anticipating the release of their second full-length album, and have leaked a new track off the album as a little teaser for fans. International Incident will appear on the new album, Manimals, which is set to be released August 31 on Kiss of Death Records. You can check out the track on ReaxMusic here.

Guitarist/vocalist Sam Johnson has this to say about the upcoming album,

This is my favorite shit I’ve done and it seriously rocks. I feel like it’s got a lot of old punk influences like Dead Boys, Adolescents, The Damned, and Circle Jerks, but rocks like my current faves like Nirvana, Hot Snakes and some poppy shit too, like The Dickies or some badass shit like The Dwarves.

The band recently changed their name from the old moniker VIRGINS to VRGNS, and added a member to the group. Alex Goldfarb is the new bassist for VRGNS, hailing from New Mexican Disaster Squad (along with Johnson) and also plays in No Friends. Goldfarb is also a member of Gatorface.

Virgins’ last album, Miscarriage, came out in 2008.
