Off With Their Heads comment on new Social Distortion album

Off With Their Heads recently posted an update on their Facebook page regarding “Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes”, the long overdue new Social Distortion album:

“Getting a sneak preview of the new Social Distortion record. Holy shit. Its awesome.”

Off With Their Heads also mention that Social Distortion has been mixing their new album. Rolling Stone magazine claims that “Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes” will be released on November 23, 2010, but there has been no official confirmation on these reports.

Social Distortion will embark full US tour this fall in support of the new record. As previously reported, the band has announced that drummer Scott Reeder has left the band to fully focus on his main project, Fu Manchu. Replacing Reeder on the drum kit will be Dave Hidalgo Jr., formerly of Suicidal Tendencies, Spinnerette and The Drips.

“Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes” will be Social D’s their first release on Epitaph Records, who will release the new album, which will be their first of all new material since 2004’s Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll, and the band’s first release of any kind since 2007’s Greatest Hits.
