Omnigone, the brand new East Bay ska-core project from Adam Davis of Link 80, just dropped a music video for their cover of “If You Lived Here” by San Francisco’s Quentel the Cryptid. The video features some of Quentel’s trademark masked characters wandering the sites of an unidentified city, backed by the energetic ska that Omnigone is quickly becoming known for. Just in time for Halloween, this is the first follow-up to No Faith (the band’s debut album on West Coast ska-punk label Bad Time Records) and their second release ever.

The self-described “bummer pop” band from Boston, MA is currently on tour with The Wonder Years, Homesafe, and Trash Boat for the 3rd (Occasionally) Annual Halloween Extravaganza, where all of the bands play a costumed cover set as another band in addition to their own. Future Teens most recently released Breakup Season on Take This To Heart Records in late August and will be complimenting those originals on this tour with samplings from the beloved Carly Rae Jepsen catalog. Homesafe will be playing as Weezer (playing as Toto?), Trash Boat will be taking the stage as Oasis, and The Wonder Years will be breaking stuff as the equally maligned-and-praised nu metal OGs Limp Bizkit.

Pittsburgh’s Swiss Army have released two new songs in as many months, both on A-F Records. “Hosts”, which showcases the 90s-heavy alternative sound that Swiss Army is known for, was part of a collaboration with Dancing Gnome Brewery. The more reflective “On Top of the World” features guest vocals from Red City Radio frontman Garrett Dale. These two tracks are the first new music from the Pennsylvania punks since 2018’s Paris Mountain.
