Austin skate-punks Sober Daze are streaming their latest masterpiece The Season. Featuring eight songs, this album reminded me of the classic Ten Foot Pole sound of my youth. Which is probably why it has found its way into my daily listening.

What’s better than Canadian punk? Canadian Ska! The Brass Action are streaming their maple coated cover of The Scofflaws classic “In The Basement”. The Brass Action also announced they have a new album on the way, later in April they will release their third LP.

California punks Raptors are streaming the new song “Root Bound”. No word on whether this is a part of a bigger project, but the new song is pretty catchy, and won’t take long to get stuck in your head.

Satanic Surfers have covered the Iron Maiden classic “Sanctuary”. The track is to feature on the new Sea Shepherd benefit compilation (volume 3), which is out on March 29th via Uncle M Music.

The track is up on all the usual platforms now.

Guildford, UK hardcore exports Polar are to release their fourth album, Nova, on April 5th via Arising Empire. Ahead of the album, the band have released a single from it, “Midnight”.

Like just about everyone else, the good folks over at Melodic Punk Style love a good compilation. Their latest, Sound of Us, Volume 7 features a massive 27 tracks of skate punk and melodic hardcore. Amongst those featured on the collection are metal-edged UK shredders Fair Do’s; Slovenia’s finest, The Mor(r)ons; and California speed merchants, Chaser.
