San Diego punks Fallen Monuments are streaming their new album “Distance and Time” and I feel like I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t tell you to go check it out right now. A fellow Dying Scener wrote and I quote: “Conflicted” is hands-down one of my favorite songs this year. The song pairs a high-energy, straight-up punk rock sound with personal lyrics.” I am here to say the rest of the album does not disappoint.

Swedish punk heavyweights Millencolin posted a rather intriguing picture to the band’s various social media platforms last week simply stating “Something’s Cooking”. Now you can read into this what you will, however it’s been a couple of years since we got treated to True Brew so here’s to hoping.

The latest Millencolin release as mentioned above was 2016’s True Brew. Who knows maybe it’s not a new album at all, maybe they were just having fun with eggs, either way stay tuned for more news on what Millencolin has on the stove.

Altoona pop-punks Post Season are streaming the new track “Long Shot, Lost Cause”. No word on whether this will be on the band’s recently announced upcoming Self Titled album, due out July 13th on Know Hope Records.

English punks Break-Ups are streaming a new song aptly named “Slayin’ Sadness”. The song tackles the issues of mental health and trying to find that PMA we all need so desperately. All the proceeds from the song will be donated to Mind, a charity focused on mental health awareness.

Rise Against have announced that they are to release a compilation album, “The Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol 1”, on July 27th. The album features reimagined versions of previously released Rise Against songs, with acoustic orchestration and alternative instrumentation. The band have released a video for “House On Fire”, a reworked version of the track that originally featured on their last album, 2017’s “Wolves”.

While She Sleeps have released a video of an alternative version of ‘Silence Speaks’, which was filmed and recorded live at St Pancras Old Church last year. The track is included on an expanded special edition of their album ‘You Are We’, which is set for release 20th July.

Out on the band’s own Sleeps Brothers label, the new edition of the record will also feature demos of album tracks and ideas that didn’t make it onto the record. Full track listings (as well as the video) below.
