Fat Mike close to finishing Cokie the Clown solo album

According to his Instagram, Fat Mike of NOFX is apparently close to finally finishing the Cokie the Clown album. I’m curious to see what this album will be, given the dark, brutal honesty of the legendary Cokie performance at SXSW from 2010. I’m sure we’ll let you know what we think when the album is […]

The Brokedowns announce new album, “Sick of Space” due out May 18th

My favorite Chicago-area boy band, The Brokedowns, have announced their newest album, “Sick of Space.” It’s out May 18th on Red Scare Industries. My favorite Chicago-area boy band, The Brokedowns, have announced their newest album, “Sick of Space.” It’s out May 18th on Red Scare Industries. The burly hunks let their lawyer do the talking for them at RiotFest:

“Re: The Brokedowns v. Red Scare
Case No. CCCP 211

To whom it may concern:

Here is the contractually agreed upon third LP from the Brokedowns for Red Scare Industries. It’s totally dope as fuck.

Lyrically and musically, this may be one of the darker, weirder, and more serious offerings by these four genius riff warriors, but it also marks the first time the band has included the word pubes in a song.

It rips hard. If you’re not into it, you should start making a list of other things you may be wrong about.

Life sucks. Fuck you.

Sincerely,

Michael Cohen
Attorney At Law”

I love songs with the word “pubes” in them! This album is going to be great! You can pre-order it from Red Scare.
