As you can tell from the minuscule print in the picture posted to the left of these very words, the lineup has been announced for the 2017 installment of the annual Vans Warped Tour Presented By Journeys. While perhaps not entirely as enjoyable to Dying Scene readers as last year’s edition of the Vans Warped Tour Presented By Journeys was, there are still a handful of kick-ass bands playing.

The lineup, which you may have seen a leaked version of floating around in recent days, includes Anti-Flag, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, The Adolescents, Big D and the Kids Table, CKY, GWAR, Goldfinger, Hatebreed, Sick Of It All, TSOL, Strung Out, Suicide Machines, Street Dogs, and a bunch more. They aren’t all playing each day, obviously, so head here for info on your local stop!

After a pretty tumultuous couple years, York, Pennsylvania’s Tigers Jaw have re-emerged in a pared down version of their former selves. Gone are 60% of the former lineup, but the remaining duo, Ben Walsh and Brianna Collins, have announced details of a brand new album. It’s called “spin,” and it marks the first release on Will Yip’s Black Cement Records.

To whet your appetite for “spin,” the band have released a new single called “Guardian.” Check it out below.

“spin” is due out May 19th, the same day they duo are slated to kick off a short US tour. Dates are available down below the new music. “spin” marks the band’s first release since 2014’s “Charmer,” which was released by Run For Cover Records.

Rats in the Wall

We’re keeping our intro short and sweet because we have got some certified rippers to introduce you to in this month’s Hidden Gems of Bandcamp. Other than Festival season starting up, there’s not really much to talk about anyway (although the lineups for the club shows for this year’s PRB Vegas are looking rather nice)! Speaking of which, our selections this month may just be the best, all around lineup we’ve ever put together! So, without further delay, check out these six stunning bands, below!
