Apparently, the rumors are true, Social Distortion has announced that Scott Reeder (drums) has left the band to fully focus on his main project, Fu Manchu. Replacing Reeder on the drum kit will be Dave Hidalgo Jr., formerly of Suicidal Tendencies, Spinnerette and The Drips.
Social Distortion just announced a full US tour in the fall in support of their upcoming full-length titled Pain, Death and Love’s Lost Cause.
Social D recently signed to Epitaph Records, who will release the new album, which will be their first of all new material since 2004’s Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll, and the band’s first release of any kind since 2007’s Greatest Hits.
