Static Thought loses drummer, begins writing songs for next album

hellcat12Static Thought drummer Travis Davant has recently quit the band due to some personal matters. While the band searches for a a new drummer to take his place, their good friend Matt Kadi from the bands Monster Squad and Build Us Airplanes will be steppin up to the plate. Due to the this recent change of events, the guys have decided they will strictly be hanging around the bay area and LA for the rest of the year. The good thing coming of this rather sad news is that while in California, the band will be writing new songs for what they claim will be the best album they’ve ever made. They’ve already written a handful of songs and after touring next year, they plan to record the new 2010 album.

Static Thought has several upcoming free shows you can attend, one of which they will be playing with 7 Seconds and Classics Of Love so be sure to check their Dying Scene Shows page.
