The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band featured on 48-song compilation to benefit Indiana State Fair stage collapse victims

One of the more tragic music-related events of the past year was the stage collapse at the Indiana State Fair just prior to a set by country superstars Sugarland. The collapse killed seven people and left at least 40 others injured.

A few different benefit efforts have begun, and this one has a punk-related crossover. The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band (themselves Indiana natives) have submitted the track “Jiffy Corn Bread Mix” to a forty-eight track compilation benefiting the Indiana State Fair Remembrance Fund. The Reverend’s most recent release was “Peyton on Patton,” which came out in July via SideOneDummy.
