The Uprising change name to Why We Kill, stream two new tracks

Three-quarters of OC political punk band The Uprising have resurfaced with a new name, a revamped logo (seen at left) and a more aggressive, “all metal, all the time” sound.

The band (which features Danny Thompson from Face To Face on drums) are now called Why We Kill, and they are streaming the new songs “Exterminate” and “Dead Ahead” for your listening pleasure right here.

In other Why We Kill news, frontman Steve “Crabby” Cabler recently flew to Indonesia testified in the trial of accused terrorist Umar Patek, who is implicated in the 2002 Bali nightclub bombing that killed 202 people including Cabler’s close friend, Steve Webster. Cabler himself sustained serious injuries in the blast. Read more about it here.
