Gaslight Anthem “retires” older songs, Fallon working on “night time music” side project

The Gaslight AnthemIn the most recent blog post from Gaslight Anthem singer, Brian Fallon, briefly informs the fans that he will be appearing on music television show, JBTV.  Other points on which he touches are that if fans are hoping to hear 1930, High Lonesome, or Meet Me At The River’s Edge at their shows shouldn’t be disappointed when the band doesn’t play them as they are currently in retirement.  Brian suggests to fans that if they have a song request that they should submit it to Brian’s Twitter.  Finally, he reminds us that his “night time” music mentioned in his last blog is still in the works.  Read the full post here.

The Gaslight Anthem recently started a US Tour which concludes in October before skipping across the pond until November (US and international dates here).  The band’s latest release, American Slang, came out this past June on SideOneDummy Records.
