Continental recording their first full length album

Led by Rick Barton (originally of Dropkick Murphys), the epic Continental from Boston, Massachusetts have begun recording their debut full length record!

“Good evening, world of Facebook!” the announcement read a few weeks back.  “We have good news, and it has nothing to do with the Republican primaries… We begin recording our very first full length album this week! If that’s not news, then we don’t know what is”.  No release date or album title is available as yet, but you might be able to catch some new material on the band’s winter tour.

Continental’s debut release was the “Death of a Garage Band” EP that came out on Old Shoe Records in 2010, and it was one of my favorite records of the year.
