Last week Long Island-based Mega Infinity released their new genre-bending EP Chaos Magick into the world. The EP sees the band leaning more into their ska influences while continuing to explore their mathier prog-rock side over the course of four tracks. They tackle toxic masculinity, channel their energy into their community, and bring Skalannis Morrisette to life with plenty of heart, a great deal of passion, and a little help from their friends. Chaos Magick is available now via Ska Punk International. Mega Infinity will be playing Bat Mary's Skalloween Skapunkalypse tonight at Mr. Beery's in Bethpage, New York and will be playing their EP release show on their Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/megawednesday) on October 25. Punknews editor Em Moore caught up with Michi and Mike DiGiulio over Zoom to talk about the EP, the parallels between being married and being in a band, practicing chaos magick, and so much more. The Lawrence Arms have announced the supporting bands for their upcoming War on X-Mas shows. We Are The Union and Pkew Pkew Pkew will be joining them on December 8 (Night 1 – Three Wise Men Revisited) and Restorations and Sweetie will be joining them on December 9 (Night 2 – The Last Temptation of Santa). Both dates will take place at Metro in Chicago and tickets are on sale now. The Lawrence Arms released Skeleton Coast in 2020.

Alternative Tentacles announces a year end concert celebration in San Francisco: KRAMPUS NIGHT!

Structure Sounds have released a video for their song “Andrea”. The video was directed by Sean Patrick Carney who also edited the video along with Erin Devlin. The song is off their album Light Up Your Sorrow which is out now via Wiretap Records. Check out the video below.

Joystick have announced that they will be releasing a new EP. It is called Dwell and will be out on November 14 via Bad Time Records.
