Riot fest has announced the bands that will headline the after parties, which take place at night after the fesitval proper has concluded for the day. Danzig, Interrupters, Frank Turner, Tegan and Sara, Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, Tegan and Sara and many others are spread across 20 after party events. The after parties run september 13-17 in chicago. You can see the full details below.
Madball's bassist Jorge Guerra will leave the band after their European tour. As revealed on Toby Morse's podcast, Guerra stated that he is leaving because the band has "slowed down too much", the group "isn't working out financially", and "mentally it isn't enough". Guerra added that there is not animosity between the members and he will continue making music. He has been in the band since 1993.

Clowns have released a video for their new song “Thanks 4 Nothing”. The video was filmed by Annabel Brown and Matt Oxlade. The song is off their upcoming album Endless which will be out on October 20 via Fat Wreck Chords and Damaged. Dim Wizard, the project of David Combs of Bad Moves and The Max Levine Ensemble, has released a new song. It is called “X-Games Mode” and features Mike Krol and Ratboys. Sarah Tudzin of Illiminati Hotties plays on the track and also produced and co-wrote the song. The song is available digitally now.
