The Last Dinner Party turn to the altar of lust with the boisterous ‘Sinner’

Few bands have made such an immediate impact on this otherwise miserable 2023 quite like The Last Dinner Party. The English newcomers shook up the scene in April with captivating debut single and SOTY contender “Nothing Matters”, as well as an enchanting and much-discussed live show that brought them to Glastonbury heights last weekend. Today (June 30), the theatrical quintet continue to cement their growing legacy with “Sinner,” a dramatic, boisterous, piano-led romp that won’t quell those ABBA or Feist […]

Bleach the Sky reach cruising altitude with the blistering ‘Hollow Chest’

It’s all too appropriate for a band called Bleach The Sky to reach cruising altitude almost immediately with their new single. But that’s the case for “Hollow Chest,” the blistering new track from the Boston alt-rock band that not only hits the streams today (June 30), but also wastes no time in making the kind of impression that would have landed the band firmly into MTV’s Buzz Bin. The 2023 Rumble participants have more new music on the way later […]

In 2022 L.S. Dunes, made up of Frank Iero, Travis Stever, Anthony Green, Tim Payne, and Tucker Rule, introduced themselves to the world on their outstanding debut album Past Lives. The first song from this session, “Benadryl Subreddit” was released last week along with a music video that answers the question, “What if Anthony Green was an ice cream man?”. L.S. Dunes will be putting out their 7-inch featuring "Benadryl Subreddit" and "Old Wounds" on September 1 via Fantasy Records and will be touring North America starting in July, including dates on the Sad Summer touring festival. ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ Review: Temple of Dull

Making another Indiana Jones movie is one of those ideas that everyone, on some level, knows is a bad idea but seems to be powerless to stop, like signing a free-agent deal with the Oakland Athletics at the end of your career or returning to the WWE at 50 for one last championship run: It’s just one of those things that you have to do when you have few options left with your time and a surplus of hope. Retirement […]
