Taking Meds have released a new song. It is called “The Other End” and is off their upcoming album Dial M For Meds which will be out on September 1 via Smartpunk Records. Taking Meds are currently on tour with Smoking Popes and will be touring the US and Quebec starting in September. The band released their album Terrible News From Wonderful Men in 2021. Manchester-based art punks Arch Femmesis have released a video for their song “ANDROGYNISTA”. The video was filmed and edited by Bad Friday Pictures and was directed and styled by @funkaholicpunk. The song is on their EP Violents which was released in 2022. Check out the video below.

Sadly, last Wednesday John Kezdy of The Effigies was killed in a bike accident. He was 64. Apparently, an Amazon delivery van illegally stopped in a bike lane on Wednesday afternoon in the Chicago suburb of Glencoe. Kezdy collided with the van. Kezdy was taken to the hopsital but passed away shortly thereafter. The Glencoe Public Safety Department. stated “Based on the initial investigation, the bicyclist was traveling northbound on Sheridan Road past South Avenue when he struck the rear of a stopped Dodge Ram ProMaster." Kezdy was a regular cyclist and an attorny. We send Kezdy's family our best wishes.
