The Damned release video for “You’re Gonna Realise”

The Damned have released a video for their new song “You’re Gonna Realise”. The video was directed by Martin Gooch. The song is off their upcoming album Darkadelic which will be out on April 28. The Damned will be touring California in May with The Dictators and released their album Evil Spirits in 2018. Check out the video below.

In Memoriam: Mark Stewart of The Pop Group has passed away

Mark Stewart, vocalist of The Pop Group and The Maffia, has passed away. He was 62. No cause of death was given. The Pop Group released a statement on their website which reads in part, ”Mark Stewart passed away in early hours of Friday 21 April 2023 Mark is in Communion with Love As Sufis say; there is no such thing as death, no one is going to die, but since death is so valuable, it has been hidden in the safe of fears. Mark's family and friends respectfully ask to be given space at this difficult time.” Mark Stewart co-founded The Pop Group in 1977 and the band went on to release two albums before splitting up in 1981. The band reunited in 2010 and released two more albums, the last of which was 2016’s Honeymoon on Mars. Mark Stewart also had an extensive solo career releasing a total of nine albums, the last of which was VS in 2022. We send our condolences to Mark Stewart’s family, friends, and fans.

Oh, babes! We have officially started counting down to one of the festivals I’m mostly excited about this year. I sat down with Andrew from Nasty Cut Records. Andrew is originally from Greece and moved to Denmark. So fun fact; Nasty Cut Records is also in Greece!


Anyway, Andrew runs Nasty Cut Records with five other individuals. Still, a few weeks ago, we felt like highlighting Andrew, how Nasty Cut Records started, and the festival’s vision.

C.O.F.F.I.N. sign to Damaged Records, release "Cut You Off" video

Australian-based punks C.O.F.F.I.N. have announced that they’ve signed to Damaged Records and will be releasing a new album on the label (as well as with Goner Records and Bad Vibrations) soon. The band has also released a video for their new song “Cut You Off” which will appear on the album. The video was filmed by Anthony (Tinky) Polkinhorne and Zoe Mulchay and directed and edited by Ben Ulitzka Portnoy. C.O.F.F.I.N. released their EP Mini Skirt in 2021 and their album Children Of Finland Fighting In Norway in 2020. Check out the video below.

Bully releases video for "Hard To Love"

Bully has released a video for her new song “Hard to Love”. The video was self-directed by Alicia Bognanno and edited by Seth Evans. The song is off her upcoming album Lucky For You which will be out on June 2 via Sub Pop Records. Bully released SUGAREGG in 2020. Check out the video below.

Festivals & Events: Clowns, Pest Control, Island of Love, more added to last ever Fluff Fest

Fluff Fest has announced the final round of bands for this year’s festival. Clowns, Island of Love, Pest Control, Aldo Morto, BAD BREEDING, Bait, Black Curse, Cameleon, CIA Debutante, Crna Žuč, CRYPTO ORDER, Existence, G.U.T.S., Lawful Killing, Layback, Lickspit, Moral Bombing, Nachttante, NBDY & Talk=Trouble, Nervy, Pest Control, Radical Kitten, Second Guessing, SLOI, Speedway, Spirito di Lupo, Spirit Possession, Syndrome 81, Tongue Depressor, TRAVØLTA, Viimeinen, Fleshlicker, Knifedoutofexistence, and WHIMM join the previously announced lineup. This year’s Fluff Fest will be the final edition of the festival and will take place July 27-29 at Airfield Rockycany in Rockycany, Czechia. Read the festival’s statement below.

Tours: OFF! add more European shows

OFF! have added a handful of European shows around their appearance at the Primavera Sound Festival. The band will be touring North America starting next week. OFF! will be releasing their FLSD EP on April 22 for Record Store Day and released their album Free LSD in 2022. Check out the dates below.
