British ska-punks Faintest Idea have announced their new album The Road to Sedition will be released on March 31st through TNS Records and Jump Start Records. Check out the first single “Nose Dive” below and pre-order the record here (US) or here (UK).

The Road to Sedition will be the band’s first new album in 7 years, following 2016’s Increasing the Minimum Rage. The LP promises to deliver more of the “rage-fueled stomping infused with a good measure of bouncy ska” these guys are known for.

Faintest Idea will be touring the US for the first time ever this April with ska legends like The Slackers, The Pietasters and Fishbone. Peep the dates below while you’re listening that new track.

East Bay punk veterans Samiam have announced Stowaway, their first new album in over a decade, will be released on March 31st through Pure Noise Records.

They’ve released a music video for the new single “Crystallized”. Check it below, along with the previously premiered “Lights Out, Little Hustler”.

Stowaway is Samiam’s first new studio album since 2011’s Trips. Pre-order the record here and catch the band on tour with Pure Noise labelmates The Bouncing Souls this spring.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs announce spring & summer tour, release "Blacktop" video

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs announced tour dates for this spring and summer. They will be playing in the US, Japan, and Europe. The Faint and Perfume Genius will be joining them on select dates. The band have also released a video for their song “Blacktop” which was directed by David Black. The song is off their album Cool It Down which was released in 2022. Tours: Laura Jane Grace announces US tour

Laura Jane Grace has announced US tour dates for this spring. Weakened Friends will be joining her on the majority of dates and she will be supporting Frank Turner and The Interrupters on a handful of dates on their previously announced co-headlining tour. Tickets for her headlining shows go on sale on January 10. In a statement released on Instagram Laura Jane Grace said, "I’ll be fresh from the studio having finished tracking the new record and looking forward to road testing new songs. Is this an album preview tour? Well, not just! Gonna be ripping all the classics too, AM!, Mothers, dead name, you got a request just yell it out! Looking forward to this run very much so". She is currently working on new music and released her solo EP At War With The Silverfish in 2021. Check out the dates below.

Festivals & Events: Pennywise, H2O, more to play Bay Fest 2023

Italian music festival Bay Fest has announced its first wave lineup for this year. Pennywise, H2O, Me First and The Gimme Gimmes, Good Riddance, Pulley, and The Venomous Pinks are set to play the festival. Bay Fest will take place at the Bellaria Igea Marina in Rimini, Italy on August 12-14.
