The Pomps announce new album, release "Heart Flipper"

The Pomps, the band made up of Alex Stern (Big D and the Kids Table), Casey Gruttadauria (Doped Up Dollies, Destroy Babylon), Jameson Hollis (The Have Nots), and Zak Kahn (The Sterns), have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Bottom of the Pomps and will be out February 17 via Bad Time Records. The band has also released their new song “Heart Flipper”. The Pomps released Drums & Liars in 2019. New York based punks Pep Talk released a cover of Montreal based Pale Lips's "Mary​-​Lou Sniffin' Glue", see below.. The track was engineered and mixed by Mike Acampora and mastered by Perry Leenhouts at Point Break Sound. Pep Talk last released Live, Laugh, Lobotomy in 2021.

Green Day: "Alison" (Elvis Costello cover)

Green Day have released a cover of Elvis Costello’s song “Alison”. The cover was recorded during the 1997 sessions for Nimrod. It is off their upcoming 25th-anniversary edition of Nimrod which will be out on January 27. Check out the cover below.

Tours: Superheaven/ Cloakroom/ Pony/ Slumped (East and West Coast)

Superheaven will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of Jar by playing a string of dates on the East and West coast this May with Cloakroom. Pony will be playing the East Coast dates and Slumped will play the west coast dates. Tickets to these run of dates will go on sale today, see below to check out the dates.

Divided Heaven have released a new single titled "The New Hallelvjah", see below. The track features Sam Russo. This announcement comes on the dame day as Divided Heaven's first post-pandemic performance tonight with Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music) at Mickey's Black Box in Lititz, PA. Tickets are still on sale for tonights show. Divided Heaven last released Oblivion in 2022.

Death Valley Girls have released a video for their new song “Sunday”. The video was created by Arturo Baston. The song is off their upcoming album Islands in The Sky due out February 24 via Suicide Squeeze Records. Death Valley Girls released their split EP with Le Butcherettes in 2022 and released their album Under The Spell of Joy in 2020. Check out the video below.
