Siouxsie Sioux to play first show in a decade

The iconic Siouxsie Sioux has announced her first show in about a decade. Siouxsie will headline Latitude festival scheduled to take place on the grounds of Henham Park, Suffolk, on July 20th-23rd, 2023. Latitude Festival Director Melvin Benn issued a statement: “What a privilege it is to welcome the iconic Siouxsie to the Latitude Festival. Siouxsie has been an enduring trailblazer, and her impact across musical culture is colossal. Uncompromisingly defiant, Siouxsie’s powerful body of work is incomparable. There has never been a live performer like her, and there probably never will be!”

Exploited’s Wattie Collapses Onstage Due to Heart Attack

On Saturday, Wattie of The Exploited collapsed on stage during a show in Colombia. He was rushed to a hospital and is now recovering. The band issued a statement: “The last gig in Colombia, Wattie had another suspected heart attack. He tried playing on but had to actually stop a couple of songs until he eventually collapsed. He got taken away to hospital in an ambulance but over 900 people refused to leave the venue until he heard he was alright.” They later stated: “[On] December 10th, 2022 during the end of the set Wattie collapsed on stage in Bogota, COL and was rushed into hospital by ambulance. Thankfully Wattie is feeling better now and is resting in a hotel in Bogota. … Due to doctor’s orders all remaining shows for 2022 have been cancelled. We apologize to the fans, promoters and everyone affected by this situation. Thank you for understanding. Also our London show on the 16th December will also be cancelled once again we are sorry about this but Wattie is exhausted and told to cancel all up coming gigs for this year.”

Jeff Rosenstock and Laura Stevenson announce rescheduled shows

Jeff Rosenstock and Laura Stevenson have announced rescheduled dates for their joint tour. The first three shows were postponed in early December due to Laura Stevenson contracting COVID-19 and will now take place in February. All previously purchased tickets remain valid at the new dates. A new show in Cleveland has also been added. Jeff Rosenstock and Laura Stevenson’s tour tour will begin tonight in Boston and they released their second EP of Neil Young covers called Younger Still earlier this year.
