On November 18, Ancient Shapes played Lee’s Palace in Toronto, Ontario. Weird Nightmare and Anxious Pleasers opened the show. Ancient Shapes released I Think You Know / Bird With an Iron Head with Weird Nightmare earlier this year and released their album A Flower That Wouldn’t Bloom in 2019. Puzzle releases new single, will release new LP

Puzzle, the band fronted by Fletcher Shears of The Garden has released a new single. It's called Love is a place to Hide and it's off an upcoming album, that is expected out next year. You can hear it below.Puzzle will play a show January 28 at August Hall in San Francisco. Kamixlo and street punks Kicker open.

Blag Dahlia of the Dwarves releases "Your Girlfriend" video

Blag Dahlia of The Dwarves has released a video for "Your Girlfriend." That's off the new Introducing Ralph Champagne album. Blag also just released a book called Highland Falls via Rare Bird books, which follows his nina character. You can see the video below.

Videos: Natalie and the Monarchy: "Brick Wall View"

Manchester based Natalie and the Monarchy have released a video for their song "Brick Wall View". The video was filmed, edited, and animated by Broken Down Golf Cart. The song appears to be a standalone single. Natalie and the Monarchy released their single "Jesus Billboard Saves the Day" earlier this year and released a handful of singles in 2021. Thin Lizzy to re-release 'Live and Dangerous' as 8xCD set

Thin Lizzy will re-release the iconic Live and Dangerous album to commemorate its 45th anniversary. The new version is an 8xCD set that features the original album as well as recordings of all six shows used to compile the original 2xLP version. The shows, recorded at London, Toronto and Philadelphia were remixed by Ben Findlay from the original multi-tracks and mastered by Andy Pearce, overseen by Lizzy guitarist Scott Gorham. The release is out early next year.< e>

Wampums have released a video for their new song "All My Love". The video was directed and produced by Born In The North. Wampums released their EP Feel At Home earlier this year. Check out the video below.

Tours: Comeback Kid/ Drain (Australia)

Canadian hardcore band Comeback Kid will be heading back to Australia in January 2023 with Drain. Tickets go on sale on November 24th at 10 am. See below to check out the dates.

Justice Department to investigate LiveNation / Ticketmaster

The U.S. Department of Justice announced that it will launch an investigation on LiveNation. The investigation “is focused on whether Live Nation Entertainment has abused its power over the multibillion-dollar live music industry.” Live Nation and Ticketmaster merged in 2010, resulting in the creation of Live Nation Entertainment. At the time, The Justice Department accepted the merger on the condition that Ticketmaster sold a secondary ticketing company it owned to another company. Ticketmaster also ha to license its ticketing software to another rival, Anschutz Entertainment Group. In 2019, the Justice Department amended its agreement with Live Nation Entertainment after finding that Livenation violated terms of the original deal.
