Watch the nutty trailer for ‘Orphan: First Kill’

Out of all the “creepy kid” horror movies released over the course of the last few decades, Jaume Collet-Serra’s Orphan remains, if not the best, then at least the most entertaining of them all. Seriously, if you caught this shit back in ’09 (or, well, any other time, but especially when all the twists and turns were still well-preserved for the theatrical experience), you probably had your mind blown. Lambgoat owner sells site to current staffer and new partners

Earlier this week, Alex Arnold, owner of metal site Lambgoat, announced that he sold the website. the website was sold to regular contributor Dave "Lurk" and other new "partners." The identity of the partners were not disclosed. Arnold stated: "I started this website when I was in my early 20s and I'm now well into my 40s. During that time, I've held a separate (non-music related) full-time job and raised a bunch of children. Frankly, I've been terribly conflicted about moving on, but life is short and I'm tired. That said, Lambgoat will live on. The new owners, Dave (aka Lurk) and his partners, are more than capable of carrying on the mission and I look forward to seeing where they take things."

(Oath keepers are a far right paramilitary group). Strangely, instead of a suit or other more appropriate attire, he wore denim, buttons, and… a Descendents shirt. The Descencents immediately condemned the Oathkeepers (obviously). They released a brief statement: “We completely disavow groups like the Oath Keepers and in no way condone their hateful ideology”

Lily Rayne plants her Providence pride in Atlanta for ‘Girl on Rhode’

Lily Rayne’s beats weren’t made to bounce around the confines of Rhode Island forever. They’ve been gaining momentum for years, ricocheting off cramped state lines, revving up to burst out at just the right moment. And at long last, that moment arrived last week (July 6) via Girl on Rhode. The Providence-raised artist dribbles her hip-hop-R&B fusion down South on her new record, which came together at Atlanta’s Super Sound Studios during the COVID-19 pandemic. Girl on Rhode unearths Rayne’s […]
