Vempire: "Last Christmas" (Wham! cover)

Vempire have released a cover of Wham!’s “Last Christmas” just in time for the holiday season. “Last Christmas” was originally released in 1984. The cover is available digitally now. Vampire released their album The New Invincible and their EP Past Lives earlier this year. Check out the song below.

Tours: The OBGMs announce Western Canada tour

The OBGMs have announced Western Canadian tour dates for January. The trek will begin with their performance at Winterruption YXE in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on January 21 and will wrap up on January 25 in Calgary, Alberta. The OBGMs released their album SORRY, IT’S OVER in 2024. Check out the dates below.

Suzie True have recorded a live session for A Fistful of Vinyl. The band played “Sentimental Scum” off their 2023 album of the same name. The video was recorded live at Pirate Studios in Los Angeles. Silhouette, the new band made up of Azeka and Gil of AURAT and Nev Ver, have released a video for their new song “dreadful game”. The video was shot, edited, and directed by aceadelic. Sixteen Scandals release two more Incorrect Thoughts Live Sessions

Sixteen Scandals have released two more Incorrect Thoughts Live Sessions. The band played “A Mate Worse Than Death” and “H.I.L.O.”. Both songs were recorded at Sugar Shack Studios in London, Ontario with the music being recorded and mixed by Kyle Ashbourne. The videos were filmed by Chris Forrest, Tyler O'Brien, and Courtney Forrest. These sessions join their previously released sessions for “Diffriends”, “We’re Off and Need The Wizard” and “C No Evil, Hear No Evil, Talk A Lot of Shit” which were released earlier this month.

Tours: Butterbrain announce US tour, Angelo Moore to join them on Florida dates

Butterbrain have announced US shows for December. The shows begin on December 4 in Miami, Florida, and wrap up with their performance at the Holiday Slamboree in New York City on December 14. Angelo Moore of Fishbone will be performing with the band on their four Florida shows. Butterbrain released their album Armageddon Party earlier this year. Check out the dates below.

Cheekface record No Fun Club Live session

Cheekface have recorded a live session for No Fun Club Live. The band played “Flies”, “Growth Sux”, and “Hard Mode” from their album Middle Spoon which came out earlier this year via New Professor Music. The video was filmed at BNB Studios in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was shot by Julio Assis and Patrick Jordan and was recorded by Rob Hill with Tiley Hill doing the mixing and mastering.
