Today, we are thrilled to bring you the premiere of the new video by Mental Gymnast! The video is for their new song “Lucy” and is off their upcoming debut self-titled EP. Speaking about the song, the band said, ”This song is about how people are not evolving with the world around them. There are so many folks who I wish gravity stopped anchoring them to the planet. We've somehow regressed. How the fuck did we end up here?  How are people okay with what is going on? Who voted for Trump, because if you did, then you missed the entire meaning of punk music. Also fuck you. ” Mental Gymnast is a new band made up of Scotty Sandwich, Erica Clayton, Chris Ruckus, Adam Gecking, Jon Greco, and Sam Freeman. “Lucy” will be out everywhere February 6 and Mental Gymnast will be out on February 27. Record Store Day has announced the 2026 RSD list. This year's selection includes a fair amount of Punk and metal, including a Ramones live record, a reissue of the Bad Brains live album, a reissue of Graves era The Misfits, a reissue of New York Dolls' comeback LP, a reissue of a Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros album, a Sex Pistols compilation, a live Judas Priest record, a Black Sabbath reissue from the Tony Iommi solo era, a new Ween live record, and about 350 other selections. Crush Fund have released a new song. It is called “FFS” and is available digitally on Bandcamp. Proceeds from the digital sale of the single will be donated to ICE relief funds and mutual aid organizations, Rent Support for North MLPS and NYC Urban Justice Center. Crush Fund will be playing Liberation Weekend in Washington, DC in April and released their EP New Fixation in 2024. Check out the song below.

Fishbone have announced the first wave of artists for their upcoming Cover Your Face tribute album. Catbite, Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy, Twin Shadow, Wheatus, The Rachets, Silversun Pickups, Kimya Dawson, Dave Hill, and Doom Regulator (Tim Armstrong, Jessie Michaels, Joey Castillo, and Spencer Pollard) will be covering a Fishbone song for the album. Two more artists will appear on the album and they will be revealed when the album comes out. Cover Your Face is part of the 40th reissue of their album In Your Face which will be out on April 10. Fishbone will be touring the US starting in April and released their album Stockholm Syndrome in 2025. You can see the tracklist below.

Dropkick Murphys have released a new song featuring Haywire called “Citizen I.C.E.” The song is off the bands’ upcoming split album called New England Forever which will be available on their upcoming US For The People…In The Pit St. Patrick’s Day tour. That tour begins on February 9 and ends with four shows in Boston in March. Check out the song below.

Longueuil, Quebec-based punk rockers Ballistix have announced Canadian tour dates for March. They will be touring their recently released self-titled debut album which came out last month via Joe Pogo Records. The tour kicks off on March 19 in Toronto and wraps up March 28 in Montreal. The War Lovers, Balm Squad, Unwanted Noise (who will also be celebrating the release of their new record with Soap Charge called Take Aim, Fire! / Lower Class Pleasures), Abraxas Reflux, Burnt Knives, Soap Eater, CandySays, The Defamed, Desaxed, Slow Burning Daydream, Reaction, and Los Bozos will be playing on select dates. The tour is presented by Ryot Punx Booking and BellaKills Records in collaboration with No Name Show, Inside Crew Productions, HellX Productions, Joe Pogo Canada, and Joe Pogo and Spiderbear Productions.
