Home Front have released a visualizer for their new song “Between The Waves”. The video was animated by Euan Retallack. The song is off their upcoming album Watch It Die which will be out on November 14 via La Vida Es Un Mus Discos. Home Front released their album Games of Power in 2023 and will be supporting Cock Sparrer at their two final Los Angeles shows later this month. Check out the video below.

Tours: Hayley Williams adds more dates to upcoming solo tour (US, Canada, UK, EU)

Hayley Williams has added additional tour dates to her upcoming solo tour. Additional dates have been added in Atlanta, Toronto, New York, Baltimore, Silver Spring, Minneapolis, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, Oakland, Los Angles, Cologne, London, Manchester, Glasgow, and Dublin. Hayley Williams released her album Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party earlier this year and has been nominated for 4 Grammys for the album. Check out the updated dates below.

Tours: Nova Twins announce tour dates (UK and EU)

Nova Twins have announced tour dates for Europe and the UK. The tour will begin on March 3 in Brighton, England and will wrap up with their performance at the Paaspop Festival in Schijndel, Netherlands. Nova Twins released their album Parasites and Butterflies earlier this year and recently recorded a Tiny Desk Concert. Check out the dates below.

Blackwater Holylight to release album, share "Heavy, Why?" video

Blackwater Holylight have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called Not Here Not Gone and will be out on January 30 via Suicide Squeeze Records. The band has released a video for their new song “Heavy, Why?” which was directed by Lorenzo Cisi. The band will be touring the US and Europe starting in February. Blackwater Holylight released their EP If You Only Knew earlier this year and released their album Silence/Motion in 2021. Check out the video, tracklist, and dates below.

Backengrillen (mems of Refused) announce debut album, share "A Hate Inferior"

Backengrillen, the free jazz band made up of Dennis Lyxzen, Magnus Flagge, and David Sandstrom of Refused and with saxophonist Mats Gustafsson, have announced that they will be releasing their debut album. The album is self-titled and will be out on January 23 via Svart Records. The band has also released their first song “A Hate Inferior”. Backengrillen performed live once in 2023 and this will be their first recording. Check out the song and tracklist below.

Dropkick Murphys release "A Hero Among Many" video

Dropkick Murphys have released a video for their song “A Hero Among Many”. The song is dedicated to Welles Remy Crowther. The video was directed and edited by Dark Details and features band footage directed by Dave Stauble. The song is off the expanded edition of their recently released album For The People. Dropkick Murphys will be touring the US starting in February. Check out the video below.

Nardwuar partners with Nike for signature shoe, announces skate shop appearances

Nardwuar has announced that he has partnered with Nike to create his own Nike SB shoe. They will be out in skate shops on December 6 and will hit the SNKRS app on December 9. The shoes feature fabric patterned with his signature plaid, a pom-pom on the laces, and his catchphrase (with “Doot doola doot doo…” on the left sole and the response “doot doo!” on the right) on the soles. Nardwuar will be stopping by skate shops in Los Angeles, Toronto, London (UK), New York, and Vancouver for appearances. Check out the announcement post and dates below.

Festivals & Events: Torche, Oathbreaker, Dear Evangeline, more added to Prepare The Ground 2026

Toronto-based heavy music and arts festival Prepare The Ground has added more bands to the 2026 lineup. Torche, Oathbreaker (playing their album Rheia in full), HELL, Sygian Bough, Blood Ceremony, Conjurer, Dear Evangeline, Tomarum, UUGGHH, and Wiegedood will be playing the festival. These artists join the previously announced first-wave lineup which includes …And You Will Know Us By the Trail of the Dead (who will be playing their albums Secret of Elena’s Tomb and Source Tags and Codes), Svalbard, Habak, Amenra, and Pallbearer. Prepare the Ground will take place May 29-31, 2026 across several venues in Toronto, including Trinity St. Paul’s Church, Lee’s Palace, The Cave, and Transac.

Status/Non-Status cover Eric's Trip

London, Ontario-based Status/Non-Status have released a cover of “View Master” by Eric’s Trip. The song originally appeared on Eric’s Trip’s 1994 album Forever Again. The cover is available digitally now. Status/Non-Status released their EP January 3rd in 2023 and released their album Surely Travel in 2022. Check out the cover below.
