Mike Musilli joins Overthrow

Punknews contributor Mike Musilli has joined long island hardcore band Overthrow. The band stated: "He has been a lifelong friend and a fixture of the band since we formed in 1995. Mike has deep roots in the hardcore scene, playing with @crimeinstereoisdead, @becomeone_lihc." The band has a September 18 gig in NYC opening for Madball.

Golpe to tour USA

Italy's Golpe will play USA in October and November. The trek is just under a month long and finds the band hitting most of the USA. You van see the dates below.

MDC to play East Coast in November

Long running punkers MDC have an east coast tour planned. They'll be on the East Coast for about two weeks in November. Urban Waste, Soji, and Rabid City play various dates. You can see the details below.

Banquets return after 10 years, announce new record

Banquets are back together. The band has a new record called Petty relics coming out on October 17. It appears to be self-released. The band is also playing a gig on August 30 in Garwood New Jersey. That's their first show in about 10 years. You can see the gig details, below.

Husker Du to release live recording from 1985

Husker Du, as curated by Numero Group, will release a new live album. The record was recorded in 1985 and the release is called 1985: The Mircale Year. The 4-LP record includes Beau Sorenson’s restoration of an entire January 30 1985 set, 20 extra live tracks from the year’s touring schedule, and a deluxe 36-page book detailing twelve months of Husker Du touring. That's out November 7.

adults to release new album, share "patterns"

South London, UK-based adults have announced that they will be releasing a new album. It is called the seeds we sow are sprouting buds nonetheless and will be out on October 31. The band has also released a new song called “patterns”. adults released their split with Spank Hair in 2024. Check out the song below.

Kneecap cancel all USA tour dates

Kneecap have canceled all of their October USA tour dates. The reason given was due to the upcoming court date for member Mo Chara. Mo Chara was charged by an English court for in May for terroristic offenses, after allegedly displaying a flag in support of Hezbollah at a London gig last year. Mo Chara denies the offence and the band says its members do not support Hamas or Hezbollah. The band's Canadian gigs and European gigs are still on as scheduled. The band says they will re-schedule the USA dates. You can see their statement below.

Toy Dolls to play Sweden

Toy Dolls will hit Swedish shores next year. They'll be there for just under a week, starting at the end of April. You can see the dates below. The band recently stated that they are in the studio, but they did not give details beyond that.
